I've been in the mood for simple, clean colors lately, so I've been wearing a lot of nudes, grey and taupes. Yes, me, wearing taupe, can you believe it? Must be my age catching up with me, lol. But I'm still me, so I always paired it with a little bit of color, glitter or nail art. This polish has that pop of neon already build in!
Cadillacquer Have a killer day is a gorgeous grey base with blue micro flakies, large neon pink squares, small matte purple glitter and small matt pink glitter. This is part of the Dexter collection and even though I'm one of the few people who really didn't like that show, I do really like this polish!
The formula is really nice, it's easy to paint and no fishing is necessary to get the larger glitter out, but I did do the smallest bit of placing the large neon glitter, to make sure those were evenly spread out on my nails. It dried really fast and reasonably shiny, but I did add a good coat of top coat to smooth everything out.
It's such a pretty polish on the nail. It looks like a really subtle polish and I think it's totally work appropriate because of that grey base. You only get the full effect of the neon glitter when you look at it up close and personal, just the way I like it!
Cadillacquer is available at her site, click here and you can also pick it up at Llarowe, Hypnotic Polish and Harlow&Co.
