Empties #2 Beauty and nail polish stuff

I have another load of trash for you today. It seems like only a few weeks ago that I did the first Empties post, but it has been almost 3 months. Since I got a lot of nice reactions to the first post, I deceided to do another one.

I do have quite a few things to show you, so let's get started!

First up: candles. I love scented candles, especially the Bath and Bodyworks candles, but I can't get them over here. Luckily, I was able to order some via eBay, but with the hefty shipping fee, I can only get the votive ones. Yankee Candle is also a favorite and they are available over here, so I tend to opt for those nowadays.

I burned quite a few of them the past few months, but they where mostly Yankee Candle votives and they don't come in a container, so I have nothing to show you. If you're interested, I burned Red Velvet, Apple and Pine Needle and Fireside Treats.

I also burned the small tumbler in Sparkling Snow and 2 Bath&Bodyworks votives in Vanilla Bean Noel and Merry Cookie. I loved them all! I really want a bigger version of Fireside Treats and I wish I could get my hands on a 3-wick Merry Cookie.

Next is some nail polish stuff.

I used up several of the Essence Nail Art acetone free nail polish remover. This used to be my favorite polish remover, but lately I've been liking remover with acetone more. It just gets the polish off quicker, especially glitter polish.

Trind Nail Balsam. I love this stuff! You apply it to your cuticles, leave it for a couple of minutes and then rub the remainder all over your nails. It makes my nails and cuticles look so healty and hydrated. I scraped out the last bit untill I couldn't get any more out, because this is rather expensive. I'll have to pay € 15 for a new bottle. I did pick up something simular from a different brand that was a lot cheaper, so fingers crossed I will like that just as much or more.

HK Girl top coat. I have been using Seche Vite for ages and a few months ago I just wanted to try different brands, so I ordered a few, including this one. I'm planning to do a comparison post between all the fast drying top coats I'm currently testing, so stay tuned for that!

CND Stickey base coat. I have gone through several bottles of this base coat and will go through a lot more, as this is my absolute favorite base coat. It protects my nails from staining, doesn't dry them out and makes my mani last. What more could I want?

Essence Fame Fatal, Catrice Golden Twenties and Catrice I'm not a Greenager. I almost never empty a bottle of nail polish and here I have 6 for you! Yes, really 6!!! How did I manage that???
Well, not by putting the polish on my nails, that's for sure! I tried to do a little DIY with this polish and some glass Christmas ornaments. Let's just say I'm not that creative and it was a big fat fail, but I did empty the polish.

Eucerin day cream sample. I can't remember exactly which cream it was and I threw the tube away allready. It was ok but nothing special, so I won't purchase a full size.

NYC face primer. Oh boy... I hated this stuff! It did nothing for my skin, didn't keep my make up on any longer and it has some kind of micro glitter in it that made my face shin and sparkle like nobody's bussiness... I only used it about 5 times before I tossed it aside. I hope a friend of mine will like it, but I will never again put this on my face.

Garnier moisturizer. Nice cream, but it did nothing for my skin. It was just not moisturizing enough and I ended up buying another cream to do the job and this just stood there for about 6 months... time to go!

L'Oreal EverPure No Sulfates Color Care System. The consistancy of both these producst is nice and thick and the shampoo lathers up perfectly. It smells absolutely divine. It reminds me of the salon shampoo smell, love it! It moisturizes my hair and the conditioner makes my hair soft and shiny. They do a great job cleaning my hair, but when I run my fingers through my hair, it feels like there's a residue on it, like a film around my hair and it feels... icky...

If you ask me if I will repurchase them, the answer is no.
Aside from the residue-feeling, there is something that I just don't like about my hair when I use this shampoo and conditioner. It seems... less vibrant and... I don't know... bouncy than usual. Not a bad product, not at all, but just not right for me.

Lush Sylvia Cynthia Stout. LOVE this shampoo! It cleans my hair thoroughly and the smell... I had to get used to it at first, because it does smell like stout (dark beer like Guinness), but I happen to love Guinness! I only needed the tiniest amount and this little bottle lasted me for almost 6 months! I will definitely repurchase.

Dove deodorant. My favorite deodorant. It works well and keeps me fresh all day. Nothing special, just deodorant...

Fa deodorant. I hated this! It stung my armpits and gave me a rash. Needless to say I only used it a few times before deciding to throw it out!

L'Oreal Elvive Hydra Krul Shampoo. This is my alltime favorite shampoo. I love the way it cleans my hair without waying it down. It smells nice and it lasts me a long time. I've allready repurchased and am currently using this shampoo again.

Too Faced Primed and Poreless. I received this little tube as a free sample when I purchased my Too Faced Shadow Insurance and I really liked it. It did what a primer is supposed to do and didn't break my out. I can only get Too Faced online these days and I love the primer I'm using right now, so I don't think I will purchase the full size any time soon, but if I get another sample, I will happily use it.

L'Oreal Lash Architect 4D Mascara. I like this mascara and have gone through 2 or 3 tubes. It defines my lashes, gives some volume and it's really black. But the last tube I used flaked on me like crazy and I was glad when I finished it. I won't repurchase this, as I'm currently using other mascara's that I like better.

Etos concealer pen. Didn't like this. It was to dark, thick and it slided of my face in about 3 hours. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone.

Catrice made to stay inside eye highlighter pen. I liked the product, but I hated the packaging! It stayed all day, felt nice and was the perfect color for me, but the packaging... It's a twist up pencil, but the actual product was so loose inside the pen, it kept falling out. Now, I don't know how you feel about picking up product of the floor and sticking it in your eye, but in my humble opinion, this is not a good thing... It fell so many times, after a while I got tired of cleaning this thing and decided to chuck it.

That's it, all the products I recently used up.
I would love to read about all the products you used up and your opinion on them, so please leave me a link if you did a video or blogpost.
