Misa Well-Heeled Grey

I have a little confession to make: I don't own any nude polishes. Not a single one!
The closest to a nude polish is the one I'm going to show you right now. I don't know... I just don't get excited when I see brown, taupe or beige polishes. If you think I should definitely try a specific nude color, please let me know!

For me, this is the nudest I go, Misa Well-Heeled Grey is a shimmering taupe polish. Absolutely gorgeous in the bottle and on the nail. The formula is perfect, it glides on the nail, not too thick, not too thin. The brush... oh my... the brush! I love the Misa brush! It's absolutely perfect! Nice and slender, but picks up enough product to cover 1 nail with just 1 dip in the bottle.

Heeled is almost opaque in 1 coat, but I always do 2 to make sure I don't have any bald spots. It dries fast and really shiny, these swatches are without topcoat.

2 coats Heeled, no topcoat
I can here you thinking: but... this IS a nude polish? Why would I say it's not? And what am I taling about when I call this a shimmer? Looks like just a plain nude cream...
Well... look at the following bottle shot :D

This little polish has an amazing purple shimmer! Didn't see that one coming did ya! It's a bit stronger in the bottle than on the nail, but still very noticable and it's what makes this polish really  unique and gorgeous.

I just love Misa, it might be my favorite brand and I hope they start making some more awesome colors!

Do you own any of these surprising polishes?

    1. It really shifts from a taupe cream to taupe with a really strong purple shimmer, I've never seen anything like it. This is definitely one you'll have to see in person to fully appreciate!
