Red Jelly Sandwich

I love my red nail polish and I love a jelly sandwich! So it's only natural that I made myself a beautiful red jelly sandwich :D

It's fresh, delicious and absolutely good for you!
You'll need only a couple of ingredients to recreate this stunner.

First up is Essie Skirting the Issue. A blood red jelly polish, opaque on its own in about 3 coats, a little on the thin side, so watch out for those cuticles, but really shiny and a gorgeous deep blood red color.

Next is OPI Pink yet Lavender. This polish was part of the Mariah Carey collection, but I think this lovely glitter polish didn't get all the attention it deserved, because of the massive hype the liquid sand Mariah Carey polishes got. It's a gorgeous chuncky pink glitter with a ton of micro holo glitter in a clear base.

Start your sandwich by painting 2 coats of Skirting and topping that with 1 coat of Pink yet Lavender.

Picture taken at night, so colors are a bit off

Top this of with another coat of Skirting, followed by a coat of top coat. The result is a delicious red jelly sandwich :D

This is one of my favorite manicures, I've worn it a lot!
What's your favorite jelly sandwich?
